Google Cloud Platform

Google Cloud Platform is a cloud computing platform that offers hosting on the same infrastructure that Google uses internally for Google Search and YouTube.

What You Get

We create a new server instance on Google Cloud Platform. The size of the server is variable and based on your requirements. Therefore the price is also variable. To make selections easy, we are presenting 3 pre-configured options here, however there are endless configurations that can be set up.

We are happy to work with you to design a server that works best for you both in terms of performance and price.

All servers are available in the latest version of your choice of Linux distributions listed below. If you are unsure or don't care, we will choose the best one for the application selected.

  • CentOS
  • Debian
  • Ubuntu

About Google Cloud Platform

Google Cloud Platform is a cloud computing platform by Google that offers hosting on the same supporting infrastructure that Google uses internally for end-user products like Google Search and YouTube. Cloud Platform provides developer products to build a range of programs from simple websites to complex applications.

Google Cloud Platform is a part of a suite of enterprise solutions from Google for Work and provides a set of modular cloud-based services with a host of development tools. For example, hosting and computing, cloud storage, data storage, translations APIs and prediction APIs.

Google Cloud Platform is a super powerful infrastructure built and operated by the tech giant everybody knows.

Features

  • High-performance virtual machines
    • Compute Engine’s Linux VMs are consistently performant, scalable, highly secure and reliable. Supported distros include Debian and CentOS. You can choose from micro-VMs to large instances.
  • Powered by Google’s global network
    • Create large compute clusters that benefit from strong and consistent cross-machine bandwidth. Connect to machines in other data centers and to other Google services using Google’s private global fiber network.
  • (Really) Pay for what you use
    • Google bills in minute-level increments (with a 10-minute minimum charge), so you don’t pay for unused computing time. With sustained use discounts, we automatically give you discounted prices for long-running workloads with no sign-up or up-front commitment.
  • Global load balancing
    • Global load-balancing technology helps you distribute incoming requests across pools of instances across multiple regions, so you can achieve maximum performance, throughput and availability at low cost.
  • Fast and easy provisioning
    • Quickly deploy large clusters of virtual machines with intuitive tools including a RESTful API, command-line interface and web-based Console. You can also use tools such as RightScale and Scalr to automatically manage your deployment.
  • Compliance and security
    • All data written to persistent disk in Compute Engine is encrypted on the fly and then transmitted and stored in encrypted form. Google Compute Engine has completed ISO 27001, SSAE-16, SOC 1, SOC 2, and SOC 3 certifications, demonstrating our commitment to information security.
  • Flexible Batch Processing
    • Cost effectively run large compute and batch jobs using Preemptible VMs. Fixed pricing and no contracts or reservations make it easy: simply check a box when you create the VM.
